    2017 Awards & Prizes - Call for Nominations

    The HSRAANZ’s awards and prizes program recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to the fields of health services and health policy research in Australia and New Zealand.

    The call for nominations are now open for the following Awards:

    HSRAANZ Distinguished Investigator Awards

    These awards replace the HSRAANZ Professional Award. They recognize investigators who have made significant contributions to the fields of health services and health policy research in Australia and New Zealand through scholarship and teaching, advancement of science and methods, and leadership. Awards will be given in up to three categories:

    Life time achievement

    This category recognises lifetime of achievement in the fields of health services and health policy research in Australia or New Zealand.

    Mid-Career

    This category recognises mid-career researchers who over a shorter career span have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of health services and health policy research.

    New Investigator

    This category recognises significant contributions of early career researchers.

    Health Services and Policy Research Papers of the Year

    These awards recognise the best scientific published works in the field of health services and policy research.  Awards may be made for the following categories and an Australian and New Zealand winner may be selected in each category:

    Best overall qualitative and quantitative papers

    Best paper by an Early Career Researcher (ECR)

    Best paper by a PhD Student

    The deadline for applications for all 2017 awards is Monday 31 July.  All awards will be presented at the HSRAANZ  Conference on the Gold Coast on 1-3 November.
