Consultation is now underway into New Zealand’s first set of health research priorities. This is an opportunity for all New Zealanders to have their say on the direction and focus of health research for the next 10 years.
The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC), Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are inviting feedback on the Strategic Investment Areas (SIAs) – also known as the overarching ‘framework’ that the new research priorities will fit into. These draft SIAs have been developed by the independent Development Group that is overseeing the priority-setting process.
The HSRAANZ is keen to submit a response to the consultation and all New Zealand members are encouraged to send us their thoughts to inform that respsonse, by Wednesday 3 October 2018.
