29/01/2010 10:55:27 AM
Primary health care research and health reform: Improving care is the theme of the 2010 Primary Health Care (PHC) Research Conference (formerly GP & PHC Research Conference) to be held in Darwin from 30 June-2 July.
This annual conference (16th) will provide opportunities for researchers, policy makers, practitioners and consumers to debate critical PHC and prevention matters, and to share knowledge and information relating to the health reform agenda. Useful linkages and collaborative partnerships among speakers and delegates will emerge during this conference as has occurred in our previous conferences. The conference, convened by the Primary Health Care Research & Information Service (PHC RIS) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Heath and Ageing.
Visit www.phcris.org.au/conference/2010 for further information about the call for abstracts (closes March 19), keynote speakers, and to subscribe to regular conference updates.
