General Manager - NBOCC

The National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre is looking to appoint a General Manager, responsible for directing and ensuring the delivery of strategic projects.
NBOCC is Australia's national authority and information source on breast and ovarian cancer. Funded by the Australian Government, NBOCC works to improve outcomes in breast and ovarian cancer through the translation of research into evidence-based practice, information, policy and health service delivery.

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager is a senior role within NBOCC, responsible for directing and ensuring the delivery of strategic projects in line with NBOCC’s mission through:
• translation of research into information, policy and practice
• providing up to date, unbiased and accurate information about all aspects of breast and ovarian cancer to community and media
• encouraging best practice by health professionals through development of clinical practice recommendations and implementation of evidence-based strategies
• demonstrating leadership to staff and colleagues
• acting as an ambassador for our organisation and representing the NBOCC at relevant high level forums.
Your qualifications in a health or science-related field, leadership capability, outstanding communication skills and senior program management experience make you an attractive candidate.
