Health Workforce Australia currently has 2 vacancies in its newly formed International Health Professionals Work Group.

Health Workforce Australia's International Health Professionals Program is committed to:
- Informing Australia’s position in the international context;
- Developing a solid base of evidence on the Australian health system requirements for international health professional migration;
- Informing Australia’s skilled immigration policy; and
- Providing programs and funding, and information analysis that assists in monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of international health professional migration and fosters improvement, effectiveness and cohesion.
- HWA is an Adelaide-based organisation that operates on a national basis
