A one-day short course aiming to provide participants with an understanding of how economic analysis can be used to evaluate health programs and aid decision making. Participants will be provided with an introduction to the application of economic evaluation methods in health. No previous knowledge is required. The course is designed for policymakers, clinicians, researchers, managers and others working in the health sector and will be held online on Zoom.
This course consists of short lectures, case studies and practical class exercises and will include the following modules:
• Introduction to Health Economics
• Cost measurement
• Outcome measurement
• Interpretation of economic evaluation results for policy
We have an Early Bird registration of $450 (until the 8th of August), which increases to $560 at 4 weeks prior to the course date (which includes an online price reduction).
