The Journal of Health Organization and Management (ISSN 1477-7266; IF 1.628) will be running a Special Issue in 2021, themed Implementation Science to Practice in Healthcare Organization and Management. Dr Mitchell Sarkies, Dr Joanna Moullin, Teralynn Ludwick, and Prof Suzanne Robinson will be guest editing the Issue, and are seeking article submissions in line with the theme.
In this Issue, they are interested in the value that can be unlocked by exploring and understanding implementation science from the standpoint of health care organization and management. Considering implementation at an organization level represents a novel and underutilized opportunity for the field of implementation science. Additionally, the application of knowledge from organization research to implementation science extends the reach of valuable concepts beyond their original contexts. These broad but novel areas will incorporate work from high, middle- and low-income countries, highlighting commonalities and differences in health system contexts across countries, including opportunities and capacity to improve system outcomes.
Submissions can be made via the JHOM ScholarOne platform, before the 31st of December, 2020 deadline. Further information on the Issue can be found on the journal’s website:
