Salary: Level A – $69,148 – $93,830 p.a. or Level B – $98,775 – $117,290 p.a., plus 9.5% superannuation
We are seeking a health economist to join our group to work on a variety of applied and methodological projects involving Australian Genomics. These include economic evaluations alongside clinical studies in areas such as mitochondrial disorders, developmental disabilities, lung diseases, neonatal intensive care and cancer, contingent valuation and discrete choice modelling methods. There will also be opportunities to contribute to health policy decisions of the Australian Government, through applications by Australian Genomics to MSAC, and to undertake additional complementary health economic research in the context of genomics.
The successful applicant will be employed at the University of Melbourne and hold an honorary position at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
