    Out of Pocket Costs and Digital Health

    Following the recent ABC Four Corners program, out of pocket costs for health care have continued to hit the headlines and a new report from the Consumers Health Forum and The George Institute for Global Health argues that “the time is now ripe” to support the expansion of digital health technology in vital areas including chronic care and residential aged care.

    Putting the ‘public’ back in public health research

    Greater transparency and clearer communication are needed when involving the public in health research, according to a paper in the latest issue of Public Health Research & Practice (PHRP). The June issue of PHRP also includes a range of papers that, according to Editor-in-Chief Don Nutbeam, “strengthen confidence in the feasibility of conducting quality research that embraces the priorities and preferences of communities”.
