The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care new online interactive Australian Atlas of Healthcare Variation

Interactive Australian Atlas of Healthcare Variation - now you can search, zoom and interact with your local area's results

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care has today released an online interactive version of the Australian Atlas of Healthcare Variation (the atlas).

The online interactive version of the atlas provides users a new platform to interact and engage with the content and data in the atlas, including the availability of data in easy-to-download formats.

The atlas was first released in November 2015, and presents a clear picture of substantial variation in health care use across Australia.

With the online interactive version, you can now see overlays of Primary Health Network and Local Hospital Network boundaries and pop-up data for each local area. The pop-ups depict graphically the local, state and national rate, and for some items, national and international comparator rates.

The online interactive Australian Atlas of Healthcare Variation is available now! Try the new features and see how it works.

You can get in touch with the atlas program team via email, or phone (02) 9126 3600. You can also follow the Commission on Twitter for the latest updates.
