Victorian Cancer Agency – Travel Scholarship for Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer

The National Cancer Institute is currently accepting applications for participants in the Training Institute for  Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (TIDIRC).

Further information on this program including eligibility criteria can be found here.

The Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency will support all successful applicants to the TIDIRC through a one-off travel scholarship of $10,000 AUD (ex-GST).

*Please note that the decision on successful applicants for entry into the TIDIRC will be at the sole discretion of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and will follow a competitive applicant review process as detailed on the website.

This travel scholarship will support any Victorian cancer researchers successful at gaining a place within this training program for travel costs related to the training session to be held in Bethesda, Maryland, USA on 9th and 10th July 2018.

It is also expected that successful applicants will provide a travel plan to the Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency, which would also include visits to NCI cancer centres and/or NCI designated cancer centres.

A key aspect of this criteria would be for participants to return to their home institutions and share their learnings and provide a summary report to the Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency within 3 months following completion of the training program.

Please click here for detailed information about this travel scholarship application process and requirements.

Applications for entry into the TIDIRC close on 12pm, 9 February 2018 (Eastern Time in the United States)
