From Art of Mentoring
What makes an exceptional mentor?
Exemplary mentors are caring and warm, work hard to build rapport and trust, are humble and authentic and demonstrate true inspiration to their mentees. They guide the mentee’s learning journey, open doors to their networks, encourage and motivate and, at times, challenge the mentee to aim higher. They go above and beyond to support their mentee, particularly during stressful times.
CRITERIA
Candidates will be assessed on the quality and extent of their mentorship, as well as their effectiveness in serving as role models for their peers, and the time and dedication they spend building a successful mentor-mentee relationship.
