PHARMAC and HRC research partnership 2016
The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) and PHARMAC have formed a joint research initiative to support innovative research and advance the strategic objectives of both organisations. It is anticipated that this partnership will augment PHARMAC’s focus on securing best health outcomes from pharmaceuticals and build on HRC investment to strengthen the use of research evidence to improve New Zealand’s health system. A total funding pool of approximately $427,500 (exclusive of GST) is available for allocation. The funding partners invite applications for funding of up to $213,750 (exclusive of GST) and duration of up to 24 months.

NHMRC – National Institute for Health Research Collaborative Research Grants
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has joined with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in the UK to co-fund Collaborative Research Grants as part of the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme. An NHMRC research grant of up to five years duration may be offered to support research undertaken by Partner Investigators located in Australia.
