The Joanna Briggs Institute offers a range of education and training courses for clinicians, managers, educators, academics and students from the fields of nursing, allied health, medicine, information science and the health sciences.
The Joanna Briggs Institute As the only GRADE Center in Australia and New Zealand, the Center is a central hub of GRADE related teaching and research in the region. The center offers training in GRADE methods for systematic reviewers and guidelines developers, and others wanting to learn more about GRADE methodology, particularly the creation of Summary of Findings tables and Evidence Profiles.
The Schools short course programs give access to population and global health expertise, current course content at a convenient location.

The School offers two types of Short courses:
- professional development short courses: you can enrol in these through the School or the program which is offering them
- normal units of study which you can undertake as a non-award student, enrolling formally through Sydney Student . You cannot enrol informally through the School in these courses.
Semianrs
A comprehensive series of seminars, with presenters discussing a range of topics from indigenous health issues to the impact of hospital acquired medical complications.
The Seminars take place from 12:30 - 1:30pm at the Australian Health Services Research Institute, located in Building 234, iC Enterprise 1 at the Innovation Campus, University of Wollongong.
